CER is seeking students to support regulatory policy research, analyze frameworks, and assist with reports for internal and external audiences. Students will gain hands-on experience in the regulatory process and work with multi-disciplinary teams.

Salary : $68,959 to $79,061 per year.

Education : Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution by June 30, 2025, specializing in economics, sociology, or statistics.

Experience : Experience in collecting, validating, categorizing, and analyzing data. Experience in writing reports, summaries, or presentations of research findings. Experience using statistical or econometric models. (Stream 2) Experience in applying machine learning algorithms.

Collect, validate, analyze, and visualize data. Use machine learning algorithms for data interpretation (Stream 2). Work in a collaborative team environment. Hybrid work model available.

Salary : $25.17 to $31.69 per hour, 18 hours per week

Education : Currently enrolled or willing to enroll in an MSc program at the University of Manitoba in Biological Sciences or Environment and Geography.

Experience : Experience in laboratory or instrumental analysis. Experience in collecting and analyzing stomach content DNA or biotracer data (e.g., fatty acids, stable isotopes) for invertebrates, fishes, or marine mammals.
