The National Capital Commission (NCC) is inviting students to apply for various positions for their summer program running from May 2025 (end of April) to August 2025. Positions are available in the Ontario Urban Lands and Greenbelt division and the Branch Services and Conservation division, offering students the opportunity to work in areas such as special events, biological research, monitoring and rehabilitation, and conservation services. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of maintaining Canada’s Capital Region.

Required Qualifications:
- For Lifecycle Inspector: Minimum of one year in Civil Engineering program
- For Parking Enforcement Officer: Minimum of one year in Law Enforcement, Wildlife Protection, Conservation, Environmental Law Enforcement, or a related field
General Requirements for All Positions:
- Full-time High School, CEGEP, college, or university student
- Enrolled in full-time studies in the next academic year
- Must be eligible to obtain reliability security clearance
- Possess a valid driver’s license (Ontario Class G, Quebec Class 5, or provincial equivalent)
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform light physical tasks
- Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays for some roles (e.g., Bikedays)
- Adherence to safety codes and uniform requirements (where applicable)
Salary:
Student rates of pay are determined by the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat.
