The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) is offering an internship opportunity for a student to assist with planetary exploration development, particularly focusing on lunar exploration and the design of GIS tools. Tasks include conducting literature reviews, assisting with operational activities, and supporting research into planetary science topics. The role is located at the John H. Chapman Space Center in Longueuil, Quebec.

Required Education:

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student in a recognized post-secondary institution in one of the following fields:
    • Earth Sciences
    • Earth & Planetary Sciences
    • Geology – Earth Sciences
    • Geomatics
  • Must have completed at least two academic years at the university level in one of these fields.

Experience:

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with the ArcGIS geographic information system.

Skills:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Salary Package:
$23.07 to $38.38 per hour.
