The Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) is looking for software developers to contribute to critical security work by developing and maintaining software solutions. Required Education:

  • Graduation from a two-year program in computer science, information technology, or a related field from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • Higher education (Bachelor’s degree, Master’s, or Doctorate) may be recognized as experience.

Required Experience:

  • Level 7: Undergraduate degree with one year of relevant experience, or technologist diploma with two years of relevant experience.
  • Level 6 (Developmental): No experience required; training and development will be provided.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, C, C++, or Python.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced work environment.

Salary Package:

  • Level 7: $87,459 – $106,386 per year.
  • Level 6: $77,427 – $94,177 per year.
  • Eligible for the Technology Market Modifier (7% of base salary).
