The Social Worker position at Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) involves working within the Income Assistance Program for First Nations communities. Required Education:
- Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution specializing in social work.
Required Experience:
- Experience in case management, including interviewing, motivating change, de-escalation, and active listening.
- Experience providing direct client service in a social services environment.
- Knowledge and experience in applying social work principles, ethics, and casework practices.
Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Ability to work with individuals who have experienced extreme levels of trauma.

Salary Package:
$69,078 to $83,116 (plus an isolated post allowance)
