The Senior Specialist, Infrastructure Management is responsible for quality assurance to the day-to-day performance and optimization of IT infrastructure (both cloud and on-premises) at CMHC. As a technical subject matter expert, the role involves overseeing cloud management, ensuring alignment with Enterprise Architecture and Security policies, and optimizing IT infrastructure systems. Responsibilities also include developing strategies, ensuring compliance with architectural and security standards, and supporting agile delivery teams to ensure effective project delivery.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years overseeing IT infrastructure, networks, and applications.
- Experience in directing the work of IT third-party providers.
- Experience in business and IT requirement analysis.
Skills:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
- Knowledge of IT service delivery life cycle (incident, problem, and change management).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to convey technical information to senior management and third-party providers.
Salary Package:
$99,646.37 to $124,557.97, based on qualifications and experience.
