Senior Information Management Analyst

Job Details

The Senior Information Management Analyst at the House of Commons will be responsible for aligning the information management program with strategic goals, collaborating with information stewards, and ensuring data integrity, protection, and effective sharing. The role includes developing and implementing policies, processes, and training related to information management, covering areas such as information architecture, security, privacy, and knowledge management. The role also includes evaluating and reporting on the program’s performance and maturity.

Required Education:
Post-secondary education in Information Management, Data Management, Information Technology, or an acceptable combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in information and data management or governance.
  • At least three projects within the last 5 years involving information and data governance.
  • Experience leading workshops, interviews, and gathering requirements for business processes and information flows.
  • Experience in developing information/data management policies, standards, and agreements.
  • Experience conducting risk and compliance assessments.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training.

Skills:

  • Strong experience in information and data governance capabilities.
  • Ability to strategize, evaluate, and report on program performance.
  • Experience in delivering training and conducting compliance assessments.
  • Proficiency in managing and promoting information governance and data protection practices.

Salary Package:
$95,700 – $121,088 per year
