- Plant, maintain, harvest, and grade potato and rotation research crops.
- Operate specialized farm equipment such as tractors, tillage machines, diggers, planters, fertilizer spreaders, and pesticide sprayers.
- Inspect, identify, and record various weeds, insects, and diseases on research crops.
- Collect, record, and label experimental data as per research guidelines.
- Maintain records of pesticides and nutrient applications.
- Service, repair, and maintain farm and plot equipment.
- Maintain and repair work areas.

Salary
$29.20 to $31.73 per hour
Education
Secondary school diploma, or an acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
Skills
Knowledge of agriculture principles and cropping practices. Knowledge of farm and plot equipment for horticultural products. Knowledge of farm safety-related practices and procedures. Ability to record data accurately and legibly. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Ability to follow written instructions.
Experience
Experience in operating farm equipment. Experience in the maintenance and repair of farm equipment.
