The Operational Communications Center Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the activities of the communications center. The role involves providing leadership, ensuring operational efficiency, and handling various issues, including human resources, training, financial management, and business planning. The successful candidate will also manage staff performance, ensure quality assurance processes, and provide recommendations to management.
Required Education:
- A secondary school diploma, or employer-approved alternatives (such as a satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test or an acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience).
- Completion of a Telecommunications Operator Training Program recognized by the RCMP or successful challenge of the RCMP National Telecommunications Operator Training Program.
Experience:
- Significant experience in gathering and analyzing information and providing recommendations to management.
- Significant experience in advising management on policies regarding human resources, training, financial management, or business planning.
- Significant experience in supervising staff and performance management, typically gained from three years of full-time performance within the last five years.

- Knowledge of human resources, records and information management.

Salary Package:
- $85,884 to $104,489
