Required Education:
- Master’s degree in nursing from a recognized university with specialization as a Nurse Practitioner.
Required Experience:
- A minimum of five years’ experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.
Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
- Ability to plan, organize, and meet tight deadlines.
- Leadership competencies including vision creation, mobilizing people, promoting innovation, and achieving results.
- Knowledge of Primary Health Care principles, Nursing Standards of Practice, and management of both acute and chronic health conditions.
Salary Package: $97,100 to $113,163 per year, plus various allowances:
- Nurse practitioner allowance: $18,000
- Terminable allowance: $4,500
- Education allowance: $3,850
- Correctional Service Specific Duty Allowance: $2,140
