Executive Administrative Assistant

The Bank of Canada is establishing a pool of pre-qualified candidates for temporary and permanent Executive Administrative Assistant positions. This role provides full clerical and administrative support to departmental staff, including managing inboxes, calendars, travel arrangements, and supporting meetings. The Executive Administrative Assistant will be responsible for office management tasks, improving office efficiency, and maintaining filing systems.

Required Education:

  • Administration certificate/diploma or high school diploma.
  • Minimum two years of recent work experience providing administrative support services, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Experience:

  • At least two years of administrative support experience.
  • Familiarity with office procedures, and managing protected and confidential documents.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint Online.

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive in overcoming work obstacles and managing competing priorities.
  • Intermediate digital literacy with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to write clear and grammatically accurate documents and convey messages with tact.

Salary Package:

  • $57,294 to $67,404 annually (job grade 12).
  • Performance incentive of 3-5% of base salary.
  • Additional performance pay (2%) for exceeding expectations.
