The Coordinator, Construction Services at Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is responsible for managing medium-complexity construction, professional services, and service contracts. Key duties include ensuring contract compliance, solving day-to-day contractual problems, monitoring schedules, liaising with contractors, consultants, and Client-Partners, and managing contract risks. The role requires both office and site-based work, with potential for travel.

Required Education:

  • Minimum: College diploma in engineering, applied science, or a related field with four years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred: Certification in an applicable field (e.g., Certified Engineering Technologist).

Required Experience:

  • Four years of relevant experience or the equivalent in the construction industry.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of construction best practices, methods, and legislation.
  • Familiarity with project, contract, and risk management principles.
  • Health and safety management.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications, apply construction management techniques, and use relevant software.

Salary Package: $77,139 – $100,281 per year.
