The House of Commons’ Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms and Corporate Security is seeking to hire an Advisor, Policy and Planning. In this role, you will closely work with the management team to align on organizational priorities and actions. You will also assist in providing briefing notes and analysis regarding business transformation initiatives and updates on project teams and working groups. Responsibilities include coordinating numerous initiatives, conducting research, and supporting recommendations, policy updates, and process improvements.
Required Education:
- University degree in management science, business administration, or another relevant field OR an acceptable combination of education, experience, and training.
Required Experience:
- Experience in developing recommendations and drafting policy and briefing notes while managing consultations with stakeholders.
- Proven experience in strategic and corporate planning, including long-term business plans and implementing strategies to achieve key objectives.
- Experience leading project teams and workgroups.
- Experience in evaluating business processes to provide advice on program/project planning.
- Experience in process analysis, mapping, and flowcharting.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Proficient in Excel and project planning.

Salary Package:
$83,912 – $106,175
