Multimedia Team Lead

The House of Commons Administration is seeking a Multimedia Team Lead responsible for managing a team of technical experts who plan, install, maintain, and support audiovisual (AV) equipment. The role includes overseeing AV operations for parliamentary events, including those in the House of Commons and the Senate, ensuring seamless audio and broadcasting systems, video conferencing, presentation equipment, and other technical setups. You will manage the planning and delivery of technical services and provide high-quality support for Members of Parliament. The position also requires flexibility with work schedules, including weekends, shift work, and on-call availability.

Required Education:

  • Completion of trade school, college or university degree/diploma in a related field such as audio-visual production, technical production, media arts and technology, electrical engineering, electronics, or an acceptable combination of education, technical training, and experience.

Required Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in provisioning events and AV operations.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in leading a team in AV operations, including performance management, scheduling, and handling human resources-related situations.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with partners, vendors, or stakeholders.
  • Experience in providing high-level client services to distinguished clients.
  • Experience working under pressure and managing stressful situations.

Salary Package:
$95,682 to $121,067
