As a Principal Web Developer, you will oversee the execution of projects and manage client relationships with business lines, focusing on developing, designing, and testing CMHC’s corporate websites and digital applications. You will be a subject matter expert in web development best practices.
Required Education:
- Post-secondary education in technology, computer science, or interactive design.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant web development experience.
- Project management experience with websites or intranets.
- Experience in client relationship management, including negotiation and influence.
Skills:
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 Level AA), and mobile design.
- In-depth experience with web content management systems (CMS).
- Familiarity with coding software such as Visual Studio Code or Dreamweaver.
- Knowledge of back-end coding (e.g., ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET) is preferred.
- Experience with Sitecore CMS, SharePoint CMS, and Agile environments is a plus.
- Proficiency in Adobe Design Suite (Dreamweaver, Photoshop).
Salary Package:
- $83,038.35 to $103,797.93 annually, based on qualifications and experience.
