The Bilingual Specialist in Multi-Unit Insurance Servicing is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day servicing of multi-unit mortgage loan insurance applications, managing risk, and providing solutions to mitigate CMHC’s risk exposure while ensuring a positive client experience. The role involves financial analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and decision-making related to loan servicing for multi-unit projects.
Required Education:
- An undergraduate degree in a related field such as business administration, commerce, finance, accounting, or property management.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of five years of experience in real estate appraisal, business turnarounds, recoveries, housing finance, or default management.
- Knowledge of mortgage loan risk factors related to multi-unit insurance and housing programs.
- Experience in interpreting appraisals and market/financial reports for multi-unit housing projects.
Skills:
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including negotiation and influencing abilities.
- Bilingualism in English and French.
- Ability to assess financial data and provide recommendations.
- Ability to analyze market conditions and the financial performance of properties.
Salary Package:
- $83,038.35 to $103,797.93 annually, based on qualifications and experience.
